What is Google Ads?

Google Ads previously known as Google AdWords is an online advertising platform developed by Google, where advertisers pay to display brief advertisements, service offerings, product listings, video content, and generate mobile application installs within the Google Ad network to web users.

The Google Ads reports give you post-click performance metrics for users who clicked on your Google Ads ads and then came through to your website, or installed and started using your mobile app.

Follow these steps to connect your Google Ads account to Electrik.AI

Step 1: Ensure you have following prerequisites to create a Google Ads Connection in Electrik.AI

a. Google Ads Account User Id and Password.

Step 2: Signup for your Electrik.AI account

Step 3: Sign-in into your Electrik.AI account

Step 4: Select IO in Electrik.AI dashboard

Step 5: Select the Connections Icon in the left most panel and Click on “Add” button the top.

Step 6: Click on “Google Ads” icon to create a Google Ads connection.

Step 8:  Allow Electrik.AI to access your Google Ads account.

What are the supported Data Destinations?

Electrik.AI supports the following databases to export Google Ads Data. It is important to note that Electrik.AI itself is not a destination. A destination is required to export data from various marketing data sources using Electrik.AI

Electrik.AI creates a data flow (or ETL process) that exports Google Ads Performance reports of your choice to a target database or data warehouse. This process runs daily at scheduled time and exports data for the previous day.

Step 1: Ensure you have the following prerequisites.
1. Access to Google Ads
2. Google Ads Account User Id and Passwords
3. Access to a Database of your choice (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Azure SQL, BigQuery.)
4. Database Connection Details such as Host, Port, DB Name, DB User, DB Password
Step 2: Signup for your Electrik.AI account

Step 6: Select Google Ads Icon present in the list of available sources.

In this example we are choosing My SQL.

Step 10: Review the Data Source, Data Destination, Database Schema, Select Report Name, Provide Success Notification Email, Failure Notification Email and Click “Save” to continue.
Report Name: Electrik.AI now supports 10 reports, choose any one of them to get the appropriate data.

Note: Electrik.AI choose your Email Id (i.e Username) in the Notification Email field & you can provide multiple Email id’s also.

You can also create a new schema in your database by selecting the “Create New Schema” radio button.
Step 11: Please wait while you are redirected to Flow Details Screen.
